Talbot out 5-7 weeks. Nobody wants to play in net there

The Leafs 4th line depth is going to take us to the promise land...

But some of the youngsters look good and should slot in above some of the vets fighting for spots.

with players being waived now, the Leafs will be in a hard spot to claim anyone as they are at 49/50 contract with ZAR still to be signed.

The Leafs 4th line depth is going to take us to the promise land...

Cliff, Simmonds, Gaudette and Anderson are sent through waivers. Everyone else is exempt. Robertson probably deserves a shot over Malgin. Malgin playing on the 4th line tonight is a big deal for him. He might not stick on the second but if he can handle the 4th and bring some offense, he has a shot. Steeves, Holmberg and Nickie if he doesn’t start with the team play at some point.
